The Town Commission acts as a quasi-judicial body when reviewing certain land-use appeals and other matters required by ordinance. Quasi-judicial hearings follow due-process rules: parties present evidence, witnesses may be sworn in, and the Commission’s decision is based on the record before it.

Attending a Hearing
Quasi-judicial hearings are open to the public. When in-person overflow seating is unavailable, hearings are livestreamed on the Town’s YouTube channel: @thetownofedgewoodnm. Free Wi-Fi (network: ECL) is available in the Town Hall parking area for visitors who wish to watch the livestream from their vehicle.
