The Town’s fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. Each year the Town holds public budget workshops in the spring as part of the budget formulation process. The preliminary budget is submitted to the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) for review and approval.
The Town’s Clerk-Treasurer manages the budget on a day-to-day basis and keeps the Town Commission informed through regular updates and Quarterly Reports.
